We’ve been looking at the awful places that Oliver lived in whilst on the streets of London. Dr Barnardo was one of the men who tried to help the children who lived on the streets of Victorian London. Have a look at the slideshow below to find out more about the life of this man.

    dr Barnardo was a very naughty boy he made people cross he was born in Ireland and left school at the age of sixteen

    In 1845 Thomas Barnardo was born.When Thomas lived in dublin there were a lot of poor people.Children had to work.Thomas did not think of them.He was quite a naughty boy.He often made people cross.

    Dr barnardo was born in 1845 . In Dublin ,Ireland .
    He was a naughty boy and failed his exams . As rusult left school when he was only 16 !

    mr barnado was born in 1845.born in irland-dublin he was lazzy. he grew up in dublin and played whith his frends.in dublin lot of people where poor.lots of people/children had to work 10 hours a day.

    Dr Banardo was a verry NORTY BOY when he was young.he was LAZY and did NOT do his homework,work.He faild his exames he left school at 16 years old.

    We first learnt that Thomas Barnardo was born in 1845.As well he grew up and playd with frends in dublin.

      The letter that went home on Friday had some information about clothing etc. We’ll need warm, waterproof clothing. Wellies and possibly trainers if we’re climbing on the wall.
