Home Learning 21-09-2012

21 Sep

Well done to you all for the presentations on charities. We’ll complete the last few on Monday and then vote for the class charity.

Now that we’ve got going in this term and used to the world of school; this week’s home learning challenge is to write some instructions for getting ready for school.  What do you need to remember to do each day? Remember to use connectives to link ideas and those bossy verbs we’ve been looking at in class. Write your instructions into your home learning book, or comment them on this post.

Fabulous instructions AH. If you were not using numbered bullets and used connectives instead (like First, Next etc.) what ones would you use?

Hello Mr Cobb, here are my instructions:

Then I get dressed in my school uniform.
Next I brush my hair and put it up into a pony-tail.
After that I go down the stairs to have my breakfast.
Then I go up the stairs to get washed.
Finally I play with my toys until it is time for school.

Great instructions. Did your sister help you get them on the blog? Can you think of some other time connectives which could link the instructions?
