100 WC – Week 7 – Scarlett

01 Nov

The Montgomery’s jumped out the car and walked over to the Museum gates.. There two children stared up at the huge building. The sign for the museum bore the words ‘Weirdest Exhibits’. The family walked inside and lined up by the reception desk. Laura and Lily, there two children had other ideas! They sneakily crept to a room and opened the clean glass door; inside was a Paper Mache hand holding a burger. They looked at the burger and saw it was disappearing, they then noticed there was a Paper Mache body the body was eating the small burger!!

Now that is an interesting idea – papier mache body as well. It must certainly have been eating the burger as it was getting smaller. Many thanks Scarlett for taking time to join the 100WC this week!

Please can you put this on the 100WC blog, week 8.

I remember that day when soldiers came back from the 1st world war, but not father. I always thought he would, mother said he was always too brave, I agreed. It was when I went out into one of the German battlefields that I realised there was blood covering up a good quarter of the rich grass. I looked again and saw it was red poppies. I blinked thinking it was just me, but when I opened my eyes there were the scarlet poppies scattered round the blanket of green grass. I stared at the rare sight in awe.
