The museum exhibits were great, like the bones of buried people and the wooden boat. I was so mesmerized by the artifacts, I didn’t notice the museum had shut.
Horrified, I ran into a corner and wept in the dim light. I heard footsteps coming towards me and out of the shadows appeared a tall figure. He explained he was the night watchman. I left with the watchman’s torch and returned to the hotel. Next morning, while exploring, I recognized a familiar outline. I ran over to thank the man, but was petrified, as I realized the grim truth…….

I looked at her my mouth dry, my old toy crocodile sat wedged between my orange schoolbag overflowing with homework from within the past week. “I never meant to, i-it was an accident, promise.” Mrs Parkinson stared at me through her glasses. “Anita you’re a Y4, you must understand, our school was being inspected last week, so you decided to attend no classes?” She sat down on my desk chair, it instantly collapsed. She clasped her hands tightly round my bedposts heaving herself up. Her wide figure looked as if it was going to explode. Had Anita done the right thing?

    This is for week 4

I ran on, into the damp, cold night. I could hear the howling of guard dogs from within the prison.
The wide shadow of the houses loomed over me, whilst wailing of the police sirens almost deafened my ears.
I clutched my toy crocodile tight to my chest that was my only belonging. I sprinted past a Horse and cart passing by. I couldn’t see a thing. I ran down a thin alleyway I collapsed into a heap, the voices of the policemen echoed behind me as they came closer the orange blur of the torch
    Shone brightly in my eyes.

I was back at the prison. Again.
