Fox Poetry on Google Docs

19 Sep

This morning in Literacy we completed our unit of poetry with a session creating poems about Foxes using similies. We worked collaboratively to create this presentation of the poems, editing our first drafts with our response partners as we went along.

What do you think of our poems? What did we do well? Are there any phrases you particularly like? What could we improve on next time?

Ed and Archie’s poem has a good line; As keen as a ninja.
Also it has brilliant wordings, but As looks better then as at the start of sentences, perhaps next time use capitals to start a line.

    Hi Mr Cobb’s class,
Busybees really liked your poetry and have been writing some similar poems on the Tasmanian Devil. We are using a PREZI to embed our work on our blogs. They should be ready to share next week. Bailey has created a PREZI on a Fox, it is on his student blog.

PS We have been very impressed with the range of writing you have on your blog.

    Hi Mr.Cobbs class.
I really enjoyed reading your fox poems. My class are doing a simalar thing but with tasmanian tigers. Were using prezi for our poems but only a couple of people have got them on their blogs. I like the lines in Henry and Amy’s poem, leaps like a frog and red as hot lava.
