Timetravel News: Ancient Egypt

This afternoon we looked at significant dates in the history of Ancient Egypt.  Imagining we were reporters on the ground we sent tweets explaining what was going on (thanks to @chrisleach78 for the account details).  Have a look at a few of them below.

2500BC: Sphinx at Giza carved out of local stone. Said to be biggest sculpture in the world!
Nov 4th 1922: Howard Carter stood at the entrance to a great tomb. Who is inside it?
9th March 1660BC: 400 years of peace has ended. Foreigners are taking over Egypt
