Class Reader Catchup

18 Oct

We are almost half way through the book now.  What do you think of it so far? So that we can recap what has happened so far, see if you can tell the story up to the point we have got to in 50 words.  What are the key parts, who are the key characters? Add your ideas to this post or comment them on the Class Reader page.

On a second reading related point; remember the school Book Fair after school this week in the Bubble.  There’s a great selection of books, including some others by Michael Morpurgo.

Billy was found by a police officer in a box when he was a baby. He was adopted by Auntie May and at first can not talk. When he is older he finds a dead Vixen who he buries in a forest. He goes back to Auntie May very dirty.

Billy was found on the door step of a police station. Soon he gets adopted by auntie May. At school Billy is very quiet but a good reader. After a while Billy goes to a wilderness where he finds a mother fox and her three cubs.
