Home Learning 27-03-09

27 Mar

Apologies for the home learning not making it onto the blog last week. There is still time to get your fabulous packaging projects into class before the end of the term. I have been really impressed with the range of possible packaging.

This week I’d like you think about what Easter means to you and your family. Post your answers as a comment on this post, or use web access time in school to do so.

Christians celebrate Easter, this is when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead. Easter Sunday is the day Christians believe Jesus rose from the dead. This is why people think about rebirth at the time of Easter. Often easter eggs are given to people to celebrate this time of year and the eggs represent new life.

Great answers PCW and BM – two very different thoughts on Easter, but both very valid. Mr C

To me, Easter means easter eggs and big treasure hunts and for Tom much the same. To Mummy it means new life and spring and and this year, for Daddy, Easter Sunday is his birthday.
