Home Learning 14-11-08

14 Nov

Apologies for no home learning last week, I was blown away by the response to the games and completely missed setting a new task.  Anyway, its now time for this week’s task, so here it is.

Times Tables – Your task is to learn your target times table (remember its one you kind of know, but not instantly) for a games and a test on Friday.  To help you do this, and as the second part of the task, I’d like you to come up with a times table song/rap which you can perform to the class.  This can be as a small group or individually, and can be brought in on paper, recorded on tape/disc/memory stick or just performed in class.  Why not help other class mates out who are struggling to learn a table by sharing your table learning tips as comments to this post.

Assembly – Just a reminder that it is our class assembly on Thursday next week and we would like to have all of you dressed in black (to show off our masks the best).  If you can find a black t-shirt or jumper to go with your usual school trousers/skirt that would be fine.

Have a good weekend, you have worked really hard this week – I have been really impressed by your Michael Rosen style poetry.
