13 Jun

Tell me what you have found out from our visit from the Planetarium.  Was there a star you never knew about, or perhaps you learnt something about the planets.

That the moon is not made out of cheese.
That Saturns rings are made out of icey rocks and Sartian is made out of gas.
You can live on space stations what are orbiting the Earth.

The Planetarium was really cool. It really strange when the lady made the stars turn round, because it felt as if she was turning us.

The plantarium was like a tardis. Mrs.Chorlton was our gide for
the plantarium. On Mars it hade lots of ice caps and dried river beds. Vencecia was 11 when she name the dwarf planet “Ploto” and it is named after the greek god of the underworld. There was a dog star called “syrius” J.K Rowlling used it for a harry potter book and ,because syrius is a dog star syruis changed into a dog.
And there is a moon called Beatle Juice it is a red moon for jupiter.
And there is a bear star it’s called The Great Bear and it has a cub called The Little Bear and it looks like a sorspan.

It was brilent! The planiterm was a big inflatible ball with a tunnel coming out of it. She told us a story about Gunen and his silly mistake. He found a piece of chese. so he tried to catch it because he loved chese and it was in the middle of the pond. But evrey time he tried to catch it sunk in to the water. his fraind noticed his silly mistake and said it was acully a reflection of the moon. And they all went home and had some chese on toast. we also had a tour aroud our solar system and found out that there has been a robot on piking up sand and putting it in a oven.

I thought the planetarium was great. I liked the way the stars went all over the inside of the display. Back through the tunnel when we came out, I got lost and could not find the door. The thing I liked best was that we got to find out even more about space.
