The Door

28 Nov

We have been writing poems based on a poem called The Door by Miroslav Holub.  Here is one we wrote in class today.

Go and open the door

Maybe inside there’s a moon lit garden or a scorching desert.

Go and open the door maybe you’ll hear a bell jingling

Or a horse galloping and a clock ticking inpatiently.

Go and open the door you will be able to fly with the stars

Or tickle a lion.

So go and open the door and win the lottery.
