Home Learning 23-11-2007

25 Nov

Apologies for this appearing on the blog late.  I will allow you a couple of days more time if you need it.  This week’s Home Learning is about biscuits.  Can you do a survey of your family’s favourite jams (ask grannys, aunts, brothers it doesn’t matter).  Record your survey however you would like.  We will be using the results during a literacy session later this week when we will be looking at biscuit making.  Good luck.

Home Learning EH should normally be given in on a Thursday. However, as I gave it to you late, shall we say it must be in on Monday 3rd. This week’s home learning will be given on Friday though.

Perhaps I should explain the Home Learning further. We’re going to be making biscuits with jam in them, so wanted to find out what the best jam choice would be. Try to find out which jam your family members would prefer. My personal choice would be rhubarb (but I’m a little odd)

I have asked my family what their favourite jams are and these are my results. I like raspberry jam but without pips. My dad also likes raspberry jam but he doesn’t mind if there are pips in it. My mummy likes apricot jam best and my little sister (Rohana) prefers strawberry jam. My mummy, daddy and sister all love jam best when it is on croissants or with peanut butter in a sandwich or on toast.
