Our next task in our graphical modelling task is to develop plans for the Olympic Education Centre. The image to the side is a model of the proposed design, but what will the classrooms look like? Use the Homestyler site to have a go at creating classroom for this exciting project. How does this site rate in your eyes? What works well? Use this garden design site to create your own garden design.  The area of outside space you have is the same size as our own school garden. See whether you can create an inspiring design including a pond, path, vegetables and other plants.

Socrative – Can you Answer It?

We’re going to be trying out this new site (Socrative) which allows me to set quizzes, and then you can all answer questions at the same time.

 

Roman Dig

As the village Roman villa dig is not open at the moment, we are going to participate in a Roman archaeological dig online. Click on the link and have a go. Once you have finished, comment on the blog and say how you got on. What was it like to use a simulation instead of the real thing? When might a simulation dig be useful?
